Terms of Service
In plain language:
- One Nextia account and business record work across the Nextia apps; the schedules below add terms for each app.
- The business owner controls the business’s data, including who has access.
- Subscriptions are billed through Stripe.
- NextiaTax does not give tax advice or file returns; in NextiaInvoices and NextiaBooking, the business is responsible for what it issues and for its own policies.
- No service-level agreement is offered.
1. The agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and 1496096 Canada Inc., doing business as Nextia AI (“Nextia”, “we”, “us”), for the Nextia platform and the Nextia apps. Each product site publishes these Terms and displays the schedules that apply to that product.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. If you use Nextia for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
2. What the Nextia platform provides
Your Nextia account, your business record, team members and roles, subscriptions and billing, clients shared across the business’s Nextia apps, and the cross-product insights home — on the web and in the NextiaBusiness mobile app.
3. Your account and sign-in
Sign-in is provided by Microsoft Entra External ID, with an email and password or with a Google, Microsoft or Apple account. Nextia never holds your password.
4. The business owner controls the business’s data
The owner of a business on Nextia controls that business’s data, including the ability to remove a team member’s access.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Nextia does not receive or store card numbers.
- New businesses may try Pro free for 14 days without a credit card. If no paid plan is selected, the business moves to Free and its data is preserved.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the monthly or annual billing period selected until cancelled. Prices are in Canadian dollars and applicable taxes are added.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the paid billing period.
- Payments already made are non-refundable except for duplicate or erroneous charges, a charge made after cancellation should have taken effect, or where the law requires a refund. Contact billing@nextia-ai.com.
6. When a subscription ends
When a paid subscription ends, the business moves to the Free plan and Free-plan limits apply. We preserve existing data, but reduced limits may restrict new uploads or actions. Cancelling a subscription does not delete an account; account deletion is a separate privacy request.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Nextia unlawfully; infringe another person’s rights; upload malicious code; probe, disrupt or bypass security or usage limits; access another customer’s data without permission; send spam or deceptive messages; or use automated means that impose an unreasonable load. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or the public, and will give notice when practicable.
8. Service availability
Nextia does not currently offer a service-level agreement or any availability commitment.
9. Privacy and data processing
The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. For a business’s own customer and client data, Nextia processes information on the business’s behalf, and the business remains accountable for it.
If your organization requires a data-processing agreement, contact legal@nextia-ai.com before submitting regulated or specially protected data. A separate agreement applies only when signed by both parties.
10. Services you choose to connect
Third-party services that a business chooses to connect — for example a calendar, a meeting provider or a payment provider — are provided by those third parties under their own terms.
11. Schedule — NextiaTax
NextiaTax organizes documents and figures. It does not give tax advice and it does not file returns.
NextiaTax uses automated reading of the documents you upload, as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Schedule — NextiaInvoices
Invoice and tax-rate calculation in NextiaInvoices is a tool. The business is responsible for the correctness of what it issues and for its own tax obligations.
13. Schedule — NextiaBooking
- Cancellation, no-show, deposit and refund policies are set by the business, not by Nextia. The business is responsible for its policies and for applying them to the people it books.
- The business is responsible for having a lawful basis to contact the people it books.
- A person making a public booking must be legally able to consent to providing the requested information. A business that offers services to minors is responsible for obtaining any consent required from a parent or guardian and for limiting the information it requests.
14. Liability, changes, governing law and contact
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nextia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or third-party services. Nextia’s aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid Nextia for the affected service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
- We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and give advance notice by email or in the service when a material change adversely affects you. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. The courts of the judicial district of Montréal have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
- Questions and legal notices may be sent to legal@nextia-ai.com.
